THE BRIEFING
About Arcana Innovations
Built at 14,000 Feet
Arcana Innovations is an extreme sports apparel manufacturer and mental health advocacy organization founded in mid-2020 at a South Carolina dropzone. Wingsuit pilots Jake and Charlie, alongside aerial videographer Nate, built this company to provide functional flight gear for high-consequence aviation sports. We operate as a central hub for athletes, funding mental health resources for the skydiving and veteran communities.

Extreme Sports and Mental Health Advocacy
We engineer durable apparel specifically for licensed skydivers, military veterans, and first responders. Our flagship line, DNTFKNDIE, serves as both technical dropzone gear and a clear community identifier. The skydiving environment requires absolute trust, precise communication, and hyper-awareness during every pack job and aircraft boarding. We use that shared operational baseline to build a peer support network for individuals navigating PTSD, depression, and trauma.

The "77" Legacy
On July 7, 2024, Arcana founder Charlie, along with Scott George and Adam Plummer, died in an aviation accident. Arcana Innovations now operates as a direct continuation of Charlie's work, focusing on the therapeutic realities of extreme sports and the necessity of peer support. The number 77 appears across our brand as a permanent identifier, reminding jumpers to check their pins, verify their routing, and look out for their team.
The DNTFKNDIE Survival Protocol
DNTFKNDIE is a practical survival protocol for high-stress environments. In aviation, athletes use freefall to force absolute physical presence and strip away external distractions. This brand applies that exact operational clarity to everyday life, serving as a visual reminder to execute emergency procedures and choose the next breath over a permanent exit.
Community
Providing a reliable peer network for veterans, first responders, and athletes managing mental health challenges.
Utility
Producing heavy-duty apparel engineered to withstand abrasive gear handling and warm-weather dropzone operations.
Advocacy
Normalizing conversations around trauma recovery and suicide prevention within the action sports industry.
Legacy
Honoring Charlie, Scott, and Adam by operating as a functional resource for dropzone safety, technical rigging, and survival.
